Artwork Presentation Guide:
Work must be received ready to hang/display in a specific way for the gallery at Setra Artes. The STAS cliprail pro system is used and displays work best when hanging hardware is set on artwork in the following ways:
Saw Tooth Hangers: centered and placed one to two inches from the top edge of the work/frame
D-rings/wire: placed within the top quarter of the work. If hanging hardware is placed lower, the work will have a tendency to hang forward, be top heavy & will not be displayed.
Maximum weight of hanging work is 20 lbs. Sculpture must include its own pedestal or display base unless it is meant to sit directly on the floor.
Art Received via Mail:
The artist is responsible for all shipping costs to and from the gallery. Return shipping in the form of a prepaid postage label must be sent along with the artwork.
Setra Artes Studio LLC has the right to reject any work that does not meet the quality standards for the exhibit or is not representative of the images supplied by the artist.

SETRA ARTES ARTIST AGREEMENT
This Art Consignment Agreement is entered into by the undersigned Artist --who is the lender of the submitted artwork, (referred to as “Lender”) and Setra Artes Studio LLC. (referred to as “Setra Artes”)
TRANSPORTATION AND PACKING
The Lender certifies that the artwork submitted is in good condition and will withstand ordinary strains of packing and transportation. The work should be shipped in the smallest reusable container that is able to transport the piece safely . Lender is responsible for shipping artwork to and from Setra Artes and shall arrange for and pay for insurance during transportation. Artwork will be made available for pick-up from Setra Artes packed in the same or similar materials as received. The Lender must include a computer-generated return label to cover the return shipping the work. This label should be enclosed in the package or emailed.
Due to space restrictions, Setra Artes will charge a five (5) dollars per day storage fee to the Lender of any artwork not picked up by the dates listed for art pick up. If artwork is not picked up within thirty (30) days after the end of the scheduled exhibition, the work shall be deemed an unrestricted gift to Setra Artes.
INSURANCE AND LOSS
The Lender is responsible for insuring the work. Lender agrees that, in the event of loss or damage, Lender’s recovery shall be limited to such amount, if any, as may be paid by Setra Artes insurer, which may be less than the limits of insurance obtained by Setra Artes. Lender hereby releases Setra Artes and its employees from liability for any and all claims arising out of such loss or damage to the extent not covered by insurance. In the event of partial loss or damage, Setra Artes may elect to compensate Lender for the cost of repair or restoration in or loss in fair market value in lieu of submitting an insurance claim. In no event shall Setra Artes liability to Lender under the terms of this Agreement exceed One Hundred Dollars ($100).
Setra Artes will place, install, light and provide signage for the artwork. Artists will be asked to assist in the event of unusual or complex installations. Supplies, equipment or props not part of the Setra Artes regular inventory must be supplied by the Lender.
Objects will be visually inspected upon receipt and any noticeable damage will be documented. Evidence of damage to objects while in the Setra Artes custody will be reported immediately to Lender.
Lender grants Setra Artes the right to photograph and reproduce photographs of the artwork for educational and publicity purposes and for use in any materials, online or offline, produced in connection with the exhibition or Setra Artes.
Artwork cannot be withdrawn from an exhibition by the Lender at any time during its scheduled exhibition.
Work sold during the exhibition may not necessarily remain on display for the duration of the exhibit should the purchaser choose to remove it.
Setra Artes retains 30% commission on any work sold during the exhibition. Lender hereby consents to the sale of the artwork by Setra Artes for the sales price indicated in the above submission form, and appoints Setra Artes as Lender’s agent for such purpose.
In the event sale proceeds are received directly by Lender, Lender agrees to send a check to Setra Artes for 30% of the sales price within 10 days of receipt by Lender. In the event sale proceeds are received by Setra Artes, Setra Artes agrees to send Lender a check for 70% of the sales price with 10 days of receipt of sale proceeds by Setra Artes.
Lender acknowledges that s/he is responsible for entering into this agreement having read the conditions above and agreeing to abide by the conditions stated herein. Lender certifies ownership of, with full power to sell, the art entered into this agreement. Any variation to these arrangements must be mutually agreed to by the lender and Setra Artes, in writing.
